The Best Way To Care For Virgin Hair

Your bundles have arrived, you've gotten a flawless installation, you look absolutely beautiful.  There is only one issue….you don’t know the first thing about caring for this exotic hair that you have attached to your head.  Obviously, you are not from Brazil, Malaysia, or Peru but maybe you’ve got a little Indian in your family <side eye>. Whatever the case may be, you've invested both time and money into your hair. Here's the best way to care for it:

  • Never go to sleep without tying your hair up in a satin scarf or bonnet. The soft texture of the satin will drastically reduce any breakage and tension to your bundles while you slumber.

  • Purchase a satin pillow case-for the same reasoning mentioned above. Plus, if your head wrap comes off during the night, you will have the extra protection.

  • Use hair care products that do not contain alcohol and/or sulfate. These ingredients will dry the hair out and leave it looking flat and ratty.

  • Wash the hair so as not to aquire a gummy buildup. This makes the hair heavy and greasy looking. It also makes it hard to mange and hold styles.

  • Condition the hair to keep it healthy looking, glossy, easy to hold styles.

We suggest Carol's Daughter Black Vanilla Moisture & Shine Sulphate Free Shampoo. It's a brand that we all know, love, and trust. It specifically fights dull, brittle hair. They also carry a fabulous leave in conditioner, it's the 'sister' to the shampoo. Also, glosser (oil free) by Next Image. It does exactly what it says-gives your bundles a beautiful gloss without leaving your hair caked up with oil. These hair care products are for natural, virgin hair-perfect for the upkeep of your new style.

***Please remember to gently wash your bundles, never vigorously wash them. This causes tangles and breakage.

Scalp Renovation After Hair Loss To Stimulate New Growth

Everyone knows that hair is your crowning glory. Whether it be yours or some that you purchased, you always want it to be right. In an age where there are more hairstyles and products to use than you can count, you or someone you know might have experienced hair loss due to the aforementioned. Maybe you've experienced loss of hair to some sort of head trauma or even a form of alopecia. Whatever your personal story is, we're sure that you've tried everything on the market or even some old wives tales to get your hair back on track.

What you haven't tried is the Pretty Strands Scalp Renovator. This tool is made with the sole purpose of renovating the scalp and promoting new hair growth in an area (or areas) otherwise lacking. The tool is reminiscent of a mini rolling pin and comes equipped with hundreds of tiny needles attached to it's "roller".  These needles puncture the outer layer of the skin ever so gently, causing slight surface wounds to the tissue.

According to it's creators, this causes your body to work to produce the human growth hormone, new skin and hair. Isn't that just everything?! The company suggests use of this product with their Pretty Strands Oil. There's also been studies done on the product and people, both men and women, who share their amazing results (before & after pictures).

The product line is for any hair type. It is also ideal for women who wear protective styles-even weaves. What we love about the company is the fact that they do not use harsh chemicals in any of their products making it safe for children to use as well. The prices are extremely affordable while the benefits surpass anything you could have ever dreamed. If you'd like more information on the product and company, visit their site Pretty Hair Strands Hair And Scalp Oil.

D.I.Y How To Refresh An Old Weave (Professional Results)

You've spent good d@mn money on your bundles, not to mention your install, and want to maximize on your investment. We don't blame you! The problem? You don't know how....well love, you have definitely come to the right place. These simple tips, tricks, and practices will show you how to bring that lackluster weave right back to it's beautiful, soft, shiny, manageable self.

First of all you have to remember that even though you didn't grow the bundles of hair, some human being did. It's common for women to forget that, thus not properly maintaining the hair once installed. The very best practice is to wash and deep condition your bundles every 3-4 weeks (more often if you workout regularly or are a profuse sweater).  This lessens the amount of product build-up, possible fungi that could carry a smelly stench, and makes the hair easier to style.

The following should be done whether the hair is installed or not-

Step 1:

Detangle that monster. You're going to need a wig brush or a wide tooth comb for this. Never, once again...never comb the hair from the weft (top portion of the track) during this process. Dampen the hair with a little conditioner and gently start combing the hair from the bottom up. Be sure to hold the weft tightly to reduce the amount of breakage. Rinse thoroughly.

Step 2:

Soak your freshly detangled bundles in apple cider vinegar for twenty minutes. Yes honey you read it right, apple cider vinegar. If the bundles are installed grab an empty clean spray bottle and go to town. After saturating your entire head put on a shower cap until it's time to start the next process.

Step 3:

Rinse, rinse, rinse. Make sure that all of the vinegar is out then use a clarifying shampoo. Be sweet to your hair, do not rub vigorously as to damage and tangle it. Just like in step one, start from the bottom and work your way up to the top.

Step 4:

Shampoo again with Silicon Mix. This product is known and celebrated for it's ability to restore the natural flexibility of the hair, curly or straight.

Step 5:

If the bundles are not installed, gently wrap them in a clean towel and smooth the excess water out of them. If you choose to blow dry already installed hair use the lowest setting on the dryer. Done!

Every weave has it's day honey. When that day has come, order your bundles from Pretty Girl Hair Factory. PGHF is known for quality, longer lasting, minimal shedding hair.

Do Blondes Really Have More Fun?!

It takes a special kind of free spirited, daring lady to rock the bleach blonde. This color screams look at me honey, I'm here in all of my glory! Not all of us can pull it off well but all of us can at least try the look and see where we stand. I've seen some fearless women out there who choose black bundles and command the same attention, ahem, if not more....than their blonde counterparts. It's all in the presentation baby. Trust me.
(Model is wearing Mayvenn bundles, distributed by Pretty Girl Hair Factory. You can get the look by clicking here.)

The key is to not over do the color to the point where your complexion is washed out. It's also important to use hair care products that will not dull the shine of the hair and will keep the color conditioned and illustrious. Keep in mind, just because you did not grow the hair yourself, it is still key to keep the hair clean. Washing the hair before the initial install and every two weeks thereafter, will preserve the quality of your bundles.

The woman in the picture above is blonde doing it right! Her makeup is minimal, nude almost, careful not to overpower her face and overall look. For a more in-depth look at the 100% virgin bundles/closures that Pretty Girl Hair Collection offers, check out their site directly at: Pretty Girl Hair Factory can also be found on Facebook & Instagram.

100% Virgin Malaysian, Brazilian, Indian, Peruvian Bundles Of Hair

It's time to get your hair done and you want the best quality bundles at the most cost effective prices but  don't know what brand of hair to get. The market is over saturated, there are so many choices out there, and the other women you ask for help are hush hush. No one wants to share their secrets, too afraid that you will find out that they didn't really pay $500 per bundle.  Well....here's one secret that won't be kept for too long. There are in fact hair distributors out there with stellar product that do not cost an arm and a leg. The trick? You will never see them on shelves in your local beauty supply stores.

Beauty supply stores tend to ridiculously jack up the prices of their hair.  Mind you, the quality of most in-store bundles are mediocre at best, to make you believe that what you are buying is better because of the price. It's simply not true. The main objective is to make an extremely high profit from unknowing customers who in turn purchase the bundles, become dissatisfied with the results, and end up stuck with poor quality hair.

We've found the solution-Pretty Girl Hair Factory. PGHF has quality bundles of 100% virgin Indian, Malaysian, Peruvian, Brazilian hair for the same prices licensed hairstylists enjoy. The hair literally sheds less, last longer, and get this.....has free shipping and a 30 day money back guarantee!!! You've nothing to lose but time, time you'll sit debating while others are making executive decisions to look beautiful with no real strain to their pocketbooks. Check out their site. It's hip, modern, classy-just like you are.

If you're media savvy, like Pretty Girl Hair Factory on Facebook & follow them on Instagram Pretty Girl Hair Factory.
